A child-focused business provides services and/or products for children.

• The business owner is providing products or services that enrich and empower the lives of children.
• The business owner will have an area of expertise. 

How ChildsFeet Works

Child-Focused Entrepreneurs will become members of the ChildsFeet organization.

• Members will network with other child-focused entrepreneurs by joining a local tribe.
• Tribes will comprise of non-competing business owners from different areas of expertise.
• There are tribes for both retail location businesses and home-based entrepreneurs. 
• Find a tribe to join and start networking to grow your business.

Tribe Types 

We offer tribes for business owners who offer services and/or products to children. 

• A Retail Tribe is available for entrepreneurs who have a retail location. 
• A Home-Based Tribe is available for those who run their business from home.

Retail Tribe 

A Retail Tribe consists of businesses: 

• That have a physical presence in a commercial space.
• Whose members offer enrollment-based services to students.
• Including Strategic Partners that operate their business from a commercial
  space.

Home Based Tribe 

A Home-Based Tribe consists of businesses:

• At can be any size but have their primary office in the owner’s home.
• Whose members offer enrollment-based services to students at home or a
  third-party location.
• Including Strategic Partners that operate their business from home.

Strategic Partner

A Strategic Partner consist of businesses

• That provides products for children such as sporting, medical, academic,
  musical supplies etc.
• That provide non enrollment-based services such as medical services,
  entertainment services, sporting activities and party celebrations etc. Such
  as dentists, chiropractors, pediatricians, indoor adventure parks, arcades,
  trampoline parks, party décor businesses etc.
• That either have retail or home-based businesses. Those that have a retail
  location, join the Retail Tribe. Those that work from join the Home-Based
  Tribe.

Alliance Network

An Alliance Network consists of businesses

• That offer products and/or services on a regional, state, national or global
  level. Such as movie theaters, department stores, hotels, airlines etc.
• That get access to both Retail and Home-Based Tribes, within the
  designated geographical area.
• Alliance Networks are not subject to Area of Expertise restrictions. There
  can be two movie theatre chains participate in the Alliance Networks.

Networking Opportunities

ChildsFeet members get the opportunity to network with other child-focused entrepreneurs from other areas of expertise. Non-competing business owners exchange knowledge and expertise to expand business.

Monthly Meetings  

These meetings are held once a month at the business location of a fellow tribe member. The host entrepreneur showcases their unique business offerings. This knowledge allows fellow tribe members to refer with confidence. Home Based Tribes can meet at restaurants or a gracious Retail Tribe member’s location.

Co-Marketing 

Promotional Partnerships

You no longer sell on your own. Promotional Partnerships give you the opportunity to market with your tribe at community events, send out newsletters and/or orchestrate open houses.

Business Briefs

ChildsFeet encourages busy entrepreneurs to take the time out to work “on their business”, rather than just “in their business”. Quarterly tribe meetings focus on strategic planning, leadership, money handling and team building.

Industry Instruction

ChildsFeet offers various courses for training staff to help them become better prepared to work with children through online classes. Certification is provided upon successful completion.
